Every once in a while we come across a piece of technology that offers exceptional value for money. The Gotrax ST is an affordable stunt scooter with a couple of features that we’ve not seen on any other scooter yet. However, there are some aspects about it that we wish could be better. Gotrax ST Pro 200/300 Build Quality

The Gotrax ST is actually a decent-looking scooter for its price range. It’s very solid and feels nice to hold, but that also makes it pretty heavy and cumbersome to carry around. I can see why they made it so sturdy, but unfortunately, it will leave a dent in your wallet if you need to replace any parts. Fortunately, Gotrax seems to have enough faith in their product to offer a lifetime warranty on all of their accessories (excluding batteries). All in all, the quality build is something worth considering when choosing between brands because it ensures you won’t be replacing your product any time soon.

Remote Control

What’s great about these Gotrax ST stunt scooters is that there are no strings attached; so whether you’re a professional looking for practice or simply a beginner in need of help, these will do everything for you. All you have to do is twist on your deck and start riding. The remote control allows you to adjust speed, acceleration, and max-height, making it perfect for anyone at any skill level. And while they can work up to distances of 50m, they also fold down very small, making them easy to transport wherever you go.

Gotrax ST Pro 200/300 Battery Life

So what do you think when you look at these scooters? Are they going to be slow and difficult to ride? Are they going to handle cheap toys, or something even worse? If so, we’re happy to say you’re wrong. Our testers all agreed that these scooters are both fast and easy to ride. The turning radius is really good on them, too. You can easily take corners faster than you would expect if you’ve never tried one of these before. So how does it do all that? Well, it has large rear wheels and a smaller front wheel—that puts most of its weight on its back wheels, so it has better balance than other stunt scooters.

Charging Time

In order to charge your scooter, you will need a USB charger, which will usually come with your scooter. Once you have your own device and charger you can plug it in at any time and charge it. It takes roughly 30 minutes to charge a fully depleted battery, with that being said if you’re going to be riding for an extended period of time we recommend that you bring an extra battery or have access to one. It’s recommended not to ride your scooter for an extended period of time on one charge as these are lithium batteries and overcharging them can cause issues down the road. When charging these devices, there is no on or off switch, it just gets plugged in and automatically turns on once it’s charged all of its power-ups.

Speed, Turning & Braking Ability

The Gotrax ST is quite fast and maneuverable, with a top speed of 28 miles per hour. The deck features two large 180mm wheels in front, two smaller 140mm wheels in back, and four smaller 90mm wheels on either side. Since stunt scooters don’t have handlebars (like skateboards), it’s important to note that these small wheels are what you use to control your turning and braking. The scooter requires some practice in order to learn how to effectively control these parts, but most owners find that once they get it down, maneuvering is intuitive and easy. Once you’ve mastered acceleration and slowing down, it’s time to try performing flips!

Conclusions & Suggestions

The Gotrax ST Pro is an affordable stunt scooter that is great for beginners who want to learn new tricks, but it also has all of the right features to keep any intermediate-level rider happy. With a few simple modifications and upgrades, you can turn it into a pro-riding beast with ease!
