Porsche Taycan 2022 is available in 3 variants Taycan, Taycan Cross Turismo, and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo. You can get 254 to 204 kWh of electricity per 100 km in the Taycan (WLTP)* when you drive it together.
- CO2 emissions for the whole car (WLTP): 0 g/km
- The combined range (WLTP): 354 – 484 km
- Range City (WLTP): 382 – 521 km (range).
With its 800-volt architecture, the Taycan can charge at a rate of up to 270kW even when it isn’t moving: In five minutes, for example, the Taycan Turbo can be charged to allow for a range of up to 100 km (WLTP) under ideal conditions.
With Launch Control installed, the two motors of the Taycan Turbo S can get to up to 560kW (761 PS) and accelerate the car from a standstill to 100km/h in just over 2.8 seconds. It’s both emotionally and technically impressive. It’s similar to the start-up performance of a super sports car like the Porsche 918 Spyder that you can repeat over and over again, up to a speed of 260 km/h.
New Addition In Porsche Taycan 2022 Range:
There are several nice aspects to the interior of the Taycan. The GT multifunction sports steering wheel and the deep, sporty seat make it easy to get excited about the trip ahead. The Porsche Advanced Cockpit also has a curved screen that focuses on high-tech comfort.
With the range indicator, you can figure out how far you’ll be able to go on your trip. The suggestion is based on your personal driving style, your travel conditions, and the equipment of the model you are driving. While the estimated range is 308 km, it doesn’t seem to be very far at all.
By guiding air over the front wheels like a curtain, the air intakes on both sides of the front wheels also contribute to the car’s aerodynamics.
They combine all of the functions of the car’s lights into a single component that makes it look as if it were floating on the road. The matrix-beam LED headlights are the best thing about the front of the car.
Featuring a flat, dynamic flyline, the silhouette opens with smooth, automatic door handles, giving way to a deep, sporty interior.
Battery Performance Opinion:
The Taycan battery makes the most of its huge power in its pouch cells, designed for maximum performance with a long range. The Performance Battery Plus module has 33 cells for total of 396 cells. The Performance Battery module that is standard in all of the Taycan vehicles, as well as the Taycan 4S, Sport Turismo, and Sport Turismo 4S, has 28 modules for total of 336 cells.
A battery typically has a 400-volt rating, but this one is 800 volts. This results in better charging and driving performance and smaller cable cross-sections, reducing the vehicle’s weight by more. The cooling system ensures the drive gets just the right amount of charge, regardless of what environment it’s in. And an extremely strong battery frame means you will be safe even if there is an accident.
How Long Does it take to Charge?
A number of Porsche Centers offer Turbo Charging. These are places where you can get a range of up to 100 kilometers (WLTP) in five minutes. On-board chargers with 150kW allow you to use public 400-volt chargers, making it easier to charge the Taycan Turbo.
Real World MPG Experiment:
All three models of the Porsche Taycan have Porsche Active Aerodynamics, which lets you control the intake of cool air. The Taycan as well has a rear spoiler that moves at an accelerated rate based on the car’s speed. It shows an electric car becoming a sports car at 90 km/h, a sports car becoming a Porsche at 160 km/h, and a Porsche becoming an electric car at 200 km/h. Performance is the final stage, which ensures a car is safe to drive and has a lot of power.
looking Inside the sleek Taycan, there is a lot of tech. The design looks simple, but it’s actually a lot like other Porsche cars that we’ve seen before. As you might expect, the inside of the house can be covered in a wide range of rich materials and different colors.
Among the many luxury options are four-zone climate control, massage seats for the front seats and a heated steering whel for the steering wheel, as well as heated seats in the back. A third seat can be added to the back of the Taycan, if needed.
It comes with 2+2. We didn’t like how low the front seat was, and we didn’t like having to get in and out of the electric Porsche. As long as you’re driving, though, you have a great view of the outside world.
PCM also seamlessly integrates Apple Music. While driving, all you need is the Apple Music icon to listen to more than 75 million ad-free songs and playlists. Alternatively, you can create a station on Apple Music based on the song you hear on the radio. Apple Music is free for up to six months when you purchase a new Taycan, Taycan Cross Turismo, or Taycan Sport Turismo.
In addition to forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, the Taycan is equipped with lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist as standard features. If you’re willing to shell out the dough, you can get access to more advanced features from Porsche.
Porsche’s warranty scheme is comparable to that of other luxury electric vehicle manufacturers. In contrast to Tesla, which guarantees unlimited mileage for the same period of time, the Taycan’s electrical components have a warranty of only eight years or 100,000 miles.
