Tesla Model S Range: Even with the all-electric Model S and its colorways of PLAID and MODEL S, it still impresses beyond expectation. It starts at $139,000 USD and includes a range of 400 miles; this eco-friendly vehicle also has an impressive 0 to 60 time of 1.99 seconds. Updates for performance can be done wirelessly using Tesla OTA (over-the-air) software updates for future changes such as adding Track Mode–which adapts depending on whether you’re racing or simply want responsive handling around town.
According to Tesla’s website, the Model S has an approximately 415 mile range, which is about 20% more than the Audi Q5.

Tesla announces an improvement for the track mode of their cars that has better driving control system optimization as well as an increase in top speed to 175 mph. However, there is no evidence found yet supporting its claim on the car’s top speed being 200mph because there are limited number of prototypes released to this date.

To improve braking performance, Tesla has revised its steering. Braking distance will also be decreased with the new steering system because it balances engine power evenly between all four wheels rather than favoring two at a time as the old setup did. In addition to that, they have added racing-grade cooling liquid as well as better tire management systems for those who want to compete at higher speeds without sacrificing safety. For those who were wanting 400+ miles per hour just last year will have an opportunity soon enough with newer braking upgrades from Tesla coming out later this year!
